Starting the SCE Continuation

Tiny&Great has organized a Summer Coding Enrichment (SCE) program for the past several summers. In the SCE, student volunteers tutor their younger peers in the Java programming language — usually, the sessions are held twice a week in August. This year, though, both tutors and students showed interest in continuing the program past the summer.

After two months of planning, we were able to start the SCE Continuation on November 3rd! So far, we have eight students joining us each weekend, but we’re hoping to continue expanding our outreach to other kids interested in learning computer science.

We have two online sessions each weekend, one on Saturdays 1:00 - 2:00 PM EST (7:00 - 8:00 PM WAT) and one on Sundays 11:00 - 12:00 PM EST (5:00 - 6:00 PM WAT). Reach out to us at info@tinyandgreat.org if you’re interested!
